Hall of Fame defensive back Mel Renfro had a tough take on the Cowboys in Todd Archer’s story today.

“On paper, they should win a Super Bowl, but looking at it, there’s a lack of dedication, a lack of accountability,” Renfro said. “They act like spoiled rotten kids. I’m sure some guys do give their all, but you can’t play with a couple of guys. You’ve got to play as a team.”

You’d hope a statement like that from a Hall of Famer would open the eyes of some guys who have lockers at Valley Ranch. But that probably isn’t the case. Even though his name is in the Ring of Honor, I’d wager that less than half the Cowboys could tell you anything about Mel Renfro.
