Last week at the NFL Owners’ Meetings, I was able to sit in with Miami coach Tony Sparano for a little bit. The talk centered around when would be the right time to put in Chad Henne.
Last year, the Dolphins drafted Henne out of Michigan in the second round with eyes on him becoming the quarterback of the future. With Chad Pennington, it’s not really clear when Henne will get the call.
Sparano said, “You know when you know.”
So I asked him if he knew about Tony Romo when they made the switch from Drew Bledsoe in 2006.
