The Cowboys have had three regular season games at their new stadium. The attendance:
New York Giants _ 105,121
Carolina _ 90,588
Atlanta _ 81,521
Jones knows the numbers will be fluid and will depend, in part, on how well the team plays and the opponent. He expects between 90,000 to 100,000 for division games and any other premier opponents.
So, what number is he looking at hitting for most games?
“I’d like to see us have consistently 90,000,” Jones said. “We’ve learned that we digest 90,000 in our restrooms, our concessions, our flow…Frankly, right now, one of most pleasing things is our ingress traffic. We’re really pleased with our traffic flow.
“It’s pretty obvious to us that 90,000 is a real good number. We want to, whenever we can, do over 100,000, but 90,000 would be my number.”
And party passes? Jones didn’t disclose a specific number, but he said the club and the city of Arlington could handle well over 15,000. He intimated the number is closer to 30,000 than 15,000, but again, wasn’t specific.
