Players have to be at Valley Ranch at 8:30 a.m. Friday for meetings, so Wade Phillips doesn’t expect there to be too much revelry tonight for New Year’s Eve.

He reminded the players as much Thursday, not that he thought they actually needed to be reminded of it.

“I think they’re concentrating on the game more than New Year’s Eve, and we practice tomorrow so … it’s a little tough to do much,” Phillips said.

Before the Christmas week started, Phillips reminded his team about the importance of practicing well and concentrating when it’s time for football. With two wins at New Orleans and Washington over the last to weeks, his message appears to have been heard.
