Joe DeCamillis, who spent the last two seasons as the Jaguars’ special teams coordinator, appears to be the top candidate to replace Bruce Read. Here’s his bio on Jacksonville’s Web site.
Calvin “Lucky” Watkins’ story on Read’s firing also mentions Kevin O’Dea as a possibility. O’Dea spent this season as the Jets’ special teams assistant. He was originally hired to replace Mike Westhoff, but Westhoff returned after a brief retirement after a poor preseason under O’Dea’s watch.
