Brian Dawkins is about to join Denver.
Dawkins has been a mainstay of that Philadelphia defense and he will create more of a void for what he means to the team than his on-field work. He is not the player he was a few years ago but he remains solid and was the heart of that defense.
But Jason Witten won’t be so lucky to avoid Dawkins this year. The Cowboys will play the Broncos at Invesco Field at Mile High this season.
