When the Cowboys run
Seattle does not possess the biggest front seven in the league but the Seahawks have been respectable against the run. Only San Francisco’s Frank Gore has had more than 67 yards vs. Seattle and he lit them up for 207. With Marion Barber, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice, the Cowboys have an advantage. EDGE: Cowboys
When the Cowboys pass
Opposing quarterbacks are competing 68.4 percent of their passes vs. Seattle this season and have a 93.0 passer rating but have not allowed a 100-yard receiver. They have not faced a hotter one than Miles Austin, however. Where they have struggled is covering the backs and tight ends and Tony Romo will mix the ball around. EDGE: Cowboys
When the Seahawks run
Julius Jones had 11 carries for 37 yards in his return to Texas last year and has picked up just 39 yards on his last 17 carries. He can still hit the home run but the Cowboys have allowed only three runs of more than 20 yards this year. Seattle will mix in Edgerrin James, too, but he’s not the same back he was. EDGE: Cowboys
When the Seahawks pass
Seattle has had four different starting left tackles this year and Walter Jones is not healthy. Matt Hasselbeck was sacked three times last year by DeMarcus Ware and been dropped seven times this season. T.J. Houshmandzadeh had two touchdowns the last time he played the Cowboys but tight end Jon Carlson is the big target. EDGE: Cowboys

Allen Rossum will not play because of a hamstring injury but Patrick Crayton had a 73-yard punt return for a score and Felix Jones is a dangerous returner. The question is will he get a chance? The Seahawks have lost eight of their last 10 games away from Qwest Field and have been beaten by 13 and 17 points on the road this year. A year ago the Cowboys pinned a 34-9 loss on Seattle at Texas Stadium. They are hoping to continue that type of play at Cowboys Stadium, where they have won their last two. EDGE: Cowboys
