As the preseason is winding down we are all anxious to see what the Cowboys will look like come the September 3rd deadline on Saturday. So in anticipation of “cut down day”, we here at Cowboysgab.com have put together our final 53-man roster predictions:

There you have it. Now, there are a couple of things that you may shake your head at: 1) no fullback – the reason I think you go without one is Martin Rucker and Jon Phillips can both play the h-back position and since the Cowboys don’t have a fullback that has stood out in the preseason they could go this way. If they don’t, I think they’ll keep Gronkowski at fullback and drop Rucker from tight end; 2) They may have players like Bruce Carter starting on the PUP list or the NFI list which would free up a spot or two, but I didn’t want to assume in my post.
